During todays lesson I merely helped out some other students since I am ready to film once my group members have completed their assigned tasks. Hopefully we are all ready to start filming by the end of next lesson so that we can put some time and effort into filming and editing our machinima which is what the project is mainly based on. During todays lesson Mr Groom went through the robin wood avatar clothing photoshop templates and taught me how to use and create clothes using the template. He then taught me how to upload the template to our avatars in world so we can wear our newly designed clothes. To Be Continued.......... Continue

During todays lesson I worked on creating clothes in world for my avatar on Second Life. This involved me playing around a lot with prim shapes and sizes. I also came across this very helpful youtube tutorial by Torley Linden explaining how you can create even smaller prims then the limited size. After awhile I gave up on creating clothing out of prims and went back to my photoshop clothes templates and continued my work on them. Continue

During todays lesson I had difficulties getting off to a start due to the fact some people were logging on to my account which in turn kicked me out. So once I had found out who was going on my account and asked them to stop and I finally had the chance to log in and I changed my password straight away. I personally recommend if you haven't changed your password yet, then to do so. During todays lesson I created my stage and three big walls around the stage to use as my backdrops on Second Life. After the creation of my stage I then went searching for some suitable textures I could use to upload onto my backdrops but I found it hard to find pictures of Rome that would suit the time frame of the play "Julius Caesar" since the only pictures of Rome from that era are now ancient and are all in ruins. During todays lesson we were introduced to our new SPJ project which consists of us making a two minute machinima video on Second Life using our Shakespeare plays we have been working on in social studies. Our group from social studies is working together for this project to create our machinima production.
